Sheria Kiganjani and Her Initiative Collaborated in the Youth Carrier Development Event
On 29th November 2024, Sheria Kiganjani and Her Initiative collaborated in the Youth Carrier Development event at Don Bosco, Oysterbay. This event under The Going Beyond Project by Digital Opportunity Trust and Mastercard Foundation, comprised of 39 Youth leaders, Sheria Kiganjani (19) and Her Initiative (20), with 76% of attendees being females.
The Youth Carrier Linkage event was a great platform for the youth to explore potential carrier paths, get mentorship and become inspired as we build the next generation of leaders in our Tanzanian society.
Event speakers with their respective topics;
Oswald Manyerere – Developing a right mindset for career growth
Gillian Mbaga – Mastering Your Job Search: Writing winning cover letter, CVs, nailing your interviews and finding right job opportunities
Godfrida Magubo - From Local to Global: How I climbed the career ladder and landed international opportunities
And the panel discussions brought together Neema Magimba (Co-founder and Head of Legal), Lydia Charles (Founder and Executive Director) and Zuhura Ahmed (Head of Programs, The Women in Recycling Foundation).
